Construction of gravel roads.
Project consists of two phases
All two phases are located between MR120 road and Omungwelume road.
Scope of work covers
Construction of fill layers: Processing of fill layers in 300mm layers and to be compacted to 90% modified AASHTO densities.
Construction of SSG layer: Importation of G7 to be processed in 150mm layers and to be compacted to 95% modified AASHTO densities.
Construction of Wearing course: Importation of G5/G6 to be processed in 150 mm and to be compacted to 98% of Modified AASHTO density
The width of the road is 7.5m with a side slope of 1:2 and fixed toe at 2.9m.
Drainage, service ducts, culverts, stone pitching will be done in phase1 and phase2.
